Air Fryer Fish with Cucumber–Napa Cabbage Salad
A light, protein-packed dish with healthy fats and a refreshing side salad — ideal for a quick and nutritious meal.
FISH:

Fresh mackerel – 200 g (raw; you can substitute with cod, salmon, or another fish)

Olive oil – 5 ml
-
Spices: salt, pepper, garlic powder
SALAD:

Cucumber – 120 g (two small green cucumbers)
-
Napa cabbage – 60 g (4 leaves; can substitute with lettuce or arugula)

Red onion – 10 g
-
Olive oil – 5 ml (1 tsp)
-
Lemon juice – 10 ml
-
Fresh dill – half a bunch
-
Salt & pepper – to taste
Preparation:
FISH:

Pat dry 200 g of fresh mackerel fillet (skin-on, boneless) with a paper towel.

Drizzle with 5 ml olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (~¼ tsp).

Place in the air fryer.

Cook at 240°C for 10 minutes (add 1–2 more minutes if the fillet is thick).
SALAD:

Slice 120 g cucumber thinly.

Cut 60 g napa cabbage into thin strips.

Slice 10 g red onion into thin slivers.

Add chopped dill (1 tbsp), lemon juice, and olive oil.

Season with salt and pepper.

Toss just before serving.
